09.10.17 My BLUE SKIES Project
Everyday my heart breaks for everyone affected by these horrific and relentless natural disasters. My family is no stranger to the loss and destruction caused by these devastating beasts. Hurricane Sandy in 2012 destroyed our beloved beach house on Fire Island, New York. Granted it was a second home but very dear to our hearts all the same. It was a mournful loss that left us recovering for many years, physically and emotionally.
I watch the news helplessly, wondering how I can help. It occurred to me that this is a perfect time to use my art for some good. I will be selling my original sky paintings to benefit victims of natural disasters. Details are forthcoming but wanted to put this out there! So excited to sell for the first time!!
